About the Journal
Aims and Scope
Progress in Civil and Structural Engineering (ISSN 2716-800X) is a peer-reviewed bi-annual journal dedicated to publish, assign and administrate high quality information from the researchers, scientists and engineers. The objective of this journal is to communicate recenttheoretical, computational and experimental developments in civil and structural engineeringand their application to all types of structures. The journals aims to be an intersection of Civil engineering and other disciplines suchEarthquake engineering, vibration engineering, health monitoring and smart structures.
The scope of the Progress in Civil and Structural Engineering (PCSE) includes a wide spectrum of subjects including:
- Advances structural engineering
- Composite material in civil engineering
- Damage detection and health monitoring
- Earthquake engineering
- Performance based design of structures
- Shock and blast in civil engineering
- Smart structures and artificial intelligence
- Soft computing in civil engineering
- Structural reliability and/or integrity
- Structure-soil interaction
- Vibration control of structures
- Vibration engineering
- Wind engineering
- Others
The journal welcomes manuscripts in English that provide information not previously published in journals related to civil and structural engineering fields. The PCSE publish also special issues containing the best papers selected from various conferences in sub-fields of Civil engineering, Structural engineering, earthquake engineering, and relatedsubjects to the journal scopes.
Journal Publication Process
(i) Manuscript submission
Author(s) can submit manuscript by using the online submission form.
Click here to download PCSE Manuscript Templates
Please visit the Submissions page to view Submission Preparation Checklist, Author Guidelines and the Copyright Notice.
(ii) Peer Review Process
All the submitted papers will undergo a peer-review process. Once a paper is reviewed and accepted for publication in the PCSE, it will be edited to conform to the Journal's style and format.
(iii) Production process
(i) Copyright and Proofs: The production office of Alwaha Scientific Publishing Services, ASPS, prepares and sends the copyright form and the proofs to the corresponding author. Corrections should be restricted to typesetting errors and minor changes. The corresponding author, on behalf of all authors, must sign the copyright form. A scanned copy of the document must be sent by email to the ASPS production office.
(ii) Online and print publications: Once the author proofs has been returned, the final PDF version of the article will be made and the article will be assigned to the current Issue ‘In Progress’. This will make the article available online, accessible, searchable and fully citable. Once the volume is completed, the issues are printed and published in a single document.
Open Access Policy
The PCSE provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Author Fees
There is no Submission, Publication or Processing Charges.
Upon acceptance of an article, the corresponding author will be directed to sign a copyright form on behalf of coauthor(s). In this form, author(s) can agree that EURL BADYLEC sponsors the free access of the article.
