Oral Presentation (last updated on December 13, 2021)

Google meet will be used for all oral presentations. The Google Meet link of each session will be emailed by the organizers to all the participants before the session scheduling date.

Oral Instructions are given in the following notes:

Note 1: Confirmation of oral presentation  

Please complete the confirmation form available on the link sent to you by email. The deadline for confirming your oral presentation is December 16, 2021.

Note 2: Presentation preparation

1)      Please send to icetme21@gmail.com the .PPT file one day before the date of the oral presentation (ID as file name).

2)      The presentation PPT could be designed as you like with the following requirements: i) Title, presenter and affiliation information should be indicated in the first slide; ii) The submission ID should be added to each PPT slide; iii) Each slide should be concise, uncluttered and readable from a distance; include only key words and phrases for visual reinforcement.

Note 3: Time

1)      The time allocated for the regular oral presentation is 15 minutes. Each regular oral presentation includes 2-3 minutes for preparation and Q&A / discussion.

2)      Oral presenters can find their assigned presentation time by searching the paper ID on the full conference program (see Conference info page). All presentation times are shown in Algerian Time (GMT +1).

3)      All presenters are requested to reach the Online Session Room prior to the schedule time and complete their presentation on time.

Note 4: Present during a meeting

1)      Click on the Google meet link of the session to join a Meet video call.

2)      Login to the Google account you want to use

3)      When the session chair asks you to start the presentation: Click ‘Present now’ at the bottom.

4)      Select Your entire screen, A window, or A tab. If you present a Chrome tab, it shares that tab's audio by default. ...

5)      Click Share.

Note 5: Presentation certificate

Signed and stamped electronic presentation certificate would be issued via e-mail after the oral presentation.

 

Poster Presentation (last updated on December 13, 2021)

Google meet will be used for all Poster presentations. The Google Meet link created by each participant will be communicated by the organizers to all session participants. Interested participants will join the Poster presenter according to the schedule of the poster session by using the Google meet link.

Poster Instructions are given step by step as follows:

Step 1: Please send to icetme21@gmail.com the Poster using .PDF format before December 16, 2021 (ID as file name).

There are no constraints on the e-poster size. The Poster design is flexible, provided it complies with: i) the paper ID and the session number (S1-S10) clearly shown in the header; and ii) Title, presenter, and affiliation information should be well indicated.

Step 2: Please create a Google Meet link for your Poster Presentation.

Before completing the participation confirmation form by Poster (Step 3), you are first asked to create the link of your Poster presentation.

How to create a Google Meet link?

1)      Go to meet.google.com (or, open the app on iOS or Android, or start a meeting from Google Calendar).

2)      Login to the Google account you want to use.

3)      Tap New meeting.

4)      Select an option: Get a meeting link to share: This generates a meeting link. You will copy the obtained link to share it in the form of the next step.

Step 3: Please complete the confirmation form available on the link sent to you by email. The deadline for confirming your Poster Presentation is December 16, 2021.

Step 4: A table with the details of each Poster (with the Google meet link) will be emailed by the organizers to all the participants of the session before the session scheduling date.

Step 5: The day of the presentation of the Poster:

1)      The participant will be connected using their Google Meet link ten minutes before the Poster session schedule and share his Poster on the screen.

2)      Interested participants and organisers will join the Poster presentation using the Google Meet link.

3)      The communicator must remain connected during the Poster session.

Step 6: Signed and stamped electronic presentation certificate would be issued via e-mail after the Poster presentation of the paper.
