About the Journal
Aims and Scope
The Journal of Geomechanics and Geoengineering (ISSN 2716-7992) is an Open Access peer-reviewed annual journal dedicated to publish, assign and administrate high quality information from the researchers, scientists and engineers. The objective of this journal is to communicate recent and projected advances in the application of the principle of mechanics to earth-materials and covers many engineering disciplines such as foundation engineering, slope engineering, tunneling, rock engineering, engineering geology, geotechnical earthquake engineering and geo-environmental engineering.
All accepted articles are published on the website as Open Access articles, without waiting for the closure of the annual volume of the journal

The journal welcomes manuscripts in English that provide information not previously published in journals in the field of geomechanics and geoengineering. The JGG publish also special issues containing the best papers selected from various conferences in sub-fields of geotechnical engineering, geo-environmental engineering, and relatedsubjects to the scope of the journal.
Journal Publication Process
(i) Manuscript submission
Author(s) can submit manuscript by using the online submission form.
Click here to download JGG Manuscript Templates
Please visit the Submissions page to view Submission Preparation Checklist, Author Guidelines and the Copyright Notice.
(ii) Peer Review Process
All the submitted papers will undergo a peer-review process. Once a paper is reviewed and accepted for publication in the JGG, it will be edited to conform to the Journal's style and format.
(iii) Production process
(i) Copyright and Proofs: The production office of Alwaha Scientific Publishing Services, ASPS, prepares and sends the copyright form and the proofs to the corresponding author. Corrections should be restricted to typesetting errors and minor changes. The corresponding author, on behalf of all authors, must sign the copyright form. A scanned copy of the document must be sent by email to the ASPS production office.
(ii) Online and print publications: Once the author proofs has been returned, the final PDF version of the article will be made and the article will be assigned to the current Issue ‘In Progress’. This will make the article available online, accessible, searchable and fully citable. Once the volume is completed, the issues are printed and published in a single document.
Open Access Policy
The JGG provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Author Fees
There is no Submission, Publication or Processing Charges.
Upon acceptance of an article, the corresponding author will be directed to sign a copyright form on behalf of coauthor(s). In this form, author(s) can agree that EURL BADYLEC sponsors the free access of the article. In this case, EURL BADYLEC is required to pay the free access charges of the article instead of all authors.
